We are excited to announce that our 32nd International Conference on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act is scheduled for November 16-19, 2015 at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center. Widely regarded as the premier FCPA conference of the year, the 2015 event is on track to bring together a record number of senior U.S. and foreign government officials, highly respected industry executives and private practitioners involved in the most high profile enforcement matters to date.
New and longstanding members of the FCPA community will have ample opportunity to meet and re-connect with their peers, and benefit from advanced, practical discussions on the most pressing compliance and enforcement issues confronting industry.
While the program is currently in development, new features for 2015 will include the following:
- INCREASED FOCUS ON GLOBAL COMPLIANCE: In addition to highly practical, in-depth panels on hot button FCPA issues, the 2015 program will include an enhanced focus on worldwide anti-corruption compliance and enforcement. Experts from across the globe will offer insights on new, emerging anti-bribery legislation and enforcement activity in a number of high risk jurisdictions.
- ENHANCED BENCHMARKING OPPORTUNITIES: Delegates will have an opportunity to participate in anonymous audience polling that will allow everyone to compare their approaches to managing highly complex, sensitive challenges. New for 2015, there will also be enhanced polling and benchmarking on internal investigations and “worst case” scenarios.
- THREE TRACKS-BREAKOUT SESSIONS ON COMPLIANCE, INTERNAL INVESTIGATIONS & ENFORCEMENT, AND HIGH RISK JURISDICTIONS: New for this year, the program will include three different tracks to allow for more in-depth, practical learning and networking. Tracks will focus on anti-corruption compliance programs, internal investigations & enforcement, and high risk jurisdictions.
- MORE INDUSTRY-SPECIFIC TOPICS AND NETWORKING: In response to audience feedback, the 2015 program will incorporate industry-specific sessions that will allow for a more granular discussion of unique risks and best practices.
Each year, members of the anti-corruption legal and compliance community rely on ACI conferences for their professional development, CLE and CPE credit, business development and networking opportunities:
